7.5 Months To Go!

Well here we are! It's Fall, and the countdown is upon us! I can hardly believe the big day is coming up so fast. We have been through so much since we first got engaged, and it seems like this wedding will never get here! John and I are just so excited!
We have all the big things booked now ~ reception venue, church, photographer, dj, caterer!
We have our entire 2 week honeymoon planned out and booked!! (One week on the Big Island of Hawaii and one week on Kauai in Hawaii!)
We are now working on the wedding website, save the dates, and details, details, details...... SO MANY DETAILS!
But it's so much fun.
We are just so enjoying this planning process.
So that's it, just a quick update! It's definitely coming along!

Don't Worry! We're Still Here!!

Well....
It's been awhile. 7 months to be exact.
Basically my entire Junior year of college. In December, John and I visited a TON of prospective venues, none of which I could decide on. Either they were too expensive, too "fancy", too disorganized, or too ugly. I was despairing because none of these places seemed like "THE ONE".
We had unofficially settled on Moose Ridge changing the date every few weeks over the past few months. But then last week, I called and found out the manager was no longer there and no one was in charge. I lost my mind! I had to start over! And this time I was now "behind" in the wedding planning game. But God was with me, and I called this one place, got to visit the following day, and got a hold on the date I wanted.
So now I can officially say that John and I have decided to hold our wedding at The Howell Opera House on Saturday, May 24, 2014!
I have also put a hold on my favorite, beloved photographer, Tahni Candelaria-Holm, of http://www.joyeusephotography.com/. Her work is gorgeous and I am SO excited to fly her in to be the photographer of this wedding! :)

So far, things are moving swimmingly, and I can't wait to see what comes next!
